April Showers Bring May Flowers
I made this adorable May Day Basket for the Whatchdoin' Wednesday Challenge at Storage Units Ink & More. The challenge was to make a card or project with flowers on it! This is the very first 3- D project I have ever made! I found my inspiration on Andrea Walford's Blog. I am not the best at constructing things out of paper, but I think this turned out kind of cute! Stop by the SUink Blog and see what the other DT members made!

Wecome Baby
You knew this was coming! I thought I had a lot of time to make a card to welcome Tommy. Since he was three weeks early I really needed to scramble, and when you need to make a card fast you case the best! This card is a case of Becca! To make this card I used the circle nesties and the SU scallop Punch. The lace ribbon is from May Arts, and the handle is a Quickuts flourish die. The Blue paper and ribbon are PTI Spring Rain Thanks for taking a peek! If you want to see a huge close up click on the picture!

So much to do, so few to do them for me!
I made this card for the Ways To use It Challenge on SCS. This was the challenge: Today I'd love to highlight it and find ways to use all white cardstock. That's right. Nothing else! Well, of course you can add embellishments and such but if you alter some white embellishments, you get brownie points. I might get some brownie points because I added fun flock and glitter to my white, but I might get the buzzer because I added some silver!

i {heart} papers Design Team Challenge
Every month the i {heart} papers design team does a challenge. This month it was my turn to host. When I first started making cards my biggest challenge was putting images on straight, that's why my blog is called Crooked Card Creations! So in honor of my blog's name the challenge is to put your image on askew! The image I used is from the Thank's Mom set from Stampendous available at i {heart} papers. The image was colored with copics and the buterfly punch is Martha Stewart. The fabulous Ribbon is Hanna silk beach glass.
Take a peek at what the other DT members did!

Happy Mother's Day
I'm not really a purple person, I like purple I just don't want to wear it or paint my walls purple. Now my Mom, who is 83, is a purple person. For as long as I can remember she has had a purple bedroom with the most beautiful mahogany bedroom set that her father built for her as a wedding present. Now I can't say that my dad was thrilled with a frilly purple bedroom all these years, but after sixty years of marriage I guess he is use to it! So this card is for my Mom and her purple bedroom!
I made this card using Core'dinations cardstock, which I ran through the Cuddlebug with the swiss dots folder. The Sentiment is from the Thinking Of Mother Set available at Storage Units, Ink, and More, and is enbossed with Ranger White Embossing Powder. The Ribbon is May Arts and the butterfly is K & Company.

Inky Impressions Stage Two Design Team Call
Last Month I sent in some coloring sample to Nicole at Inky Impressions for her first Design Team. I can not tell you how excited I was to make it to stage two of the design call. Nicole sent all the finalists this adorable image to color and we were to follow Sketch Challenge 218 from Splitcoast Stampers. There are some really talented ladies in this second stage, so wish me luck!

Thank You
I made this card for this weeks Sketch Challenge on SCS. To me this sketch was all about the paper. I have been having so much fun with the Basic Grey Marrakech paper. There are a lot of fun patterns with vibrant colors. But right in the middle of all the fun I came across this paper, and it seemed to work perfect for this sketch. i {heart} papers has a great selection of Basic Grey paper. Kate has been getting in new items almost daily. Stop by and take a peek!

SUINKWWC35 - PB & J Challenge
This Whatchadoin' Wednesday challenge was to do a PB & J card: a Pink card with Buttons & Just one more embellishment! I decided to have this adorable elephant blow the buttons right out of his trunk! The pink paper is from Core'dinations and the white paper and ribbon are from PTI. The image is from the Welcome to the Zoo stamp set and colored with copic markers. I scalloped the pink paper using a Martha Stewart border punch and cuddlebugged the white background with Swiss dots. The white border in the center was cut with nesties.

Celebrate with Pearls
I made this card for the Inspiration Challenge on SCS. The challenge site was French Bull. I had a really hard time coming up with piece that inspired me so I had to go with just the circle theme. The pearls on this card are Mark Richards Pearl Clusters. The rest of the card is pretty simple, Martha Stewart Border Punch and Circle Punches. Sorry for the terrible picture, no matter how hard I tried I could not get a good one!
