I'm not really a purple person, I like purple I just don't want to wear it or paint my walls purple. Now my Mom, who is 83, is a purple person. For as long as I can remember she has had a purple bedroom with the most beautiful mahogany bedroom set that her father built for her as a wedding present. Now I can't say that my dad was thrilled with a frilly purple bedroom all these years, but after sixty years of marriage I guess he is use to it! So this card is for my Mom and her purple bedroom!
I made this card using Core'dinations cardstock, which I ran through the Cuddlebug with the swiss dots folder. The Sentiment is from the Thinking Of Mother Set available at Storage Units, Ink, and More, and is enbossed with Ranger White Embossing Powder. The Ribbon is May Arts and the butterfly is K & Company.

Wow! i can't believe your mom has had a purple room for so long! What a trend setter! My sister would love it!!that is her favorite color! And what an amazing card for her! The textureing and the band across the middle is just great! But the gold embossing and that butterfly is blowing me away!!! It is jsut so elegant and beautiful!!!
