You lead, I'll follow

Happy Pez-A-Doodle Friday! This is one of the new releases this month at Pez-A Doodle, called Skittle Caterpillar. How cute is this little guy all dressed up in his skittle beads. This is such a fun set and I love adding the fun skittles, they come in so many fun colors! I think this qualifies as a Clean and Simple card, I usually have so much trouble with CAS, but this came together rather quickly! The border around the caterpillar is a Quickutz Patterned Arrow Die.

The new square Pezza Bling colors are in and they are Yummy! Click here to see how you can win three packs of bling!

Treehouse Thursday Surprise Pop Up Card

Welcome friends to our Treehouse Thursday Challenge #012. Today's challenge is to make a Surprise Pop-Up Card! When I saw that our challenge for this week was to make a pop up card, I went into panic mode, I have never made a pop up card before. It was not until I was posting my card that I saw it was a pop up tutorial from Beate on SCS. Gee I wish I would have read the challenge instructions it would have made things a lot simpler for me. To make this card I used the Blessings sentiment from the Count Your Blessings set. Here is the pop up instructions for the angel. Does it even look like an angel?

When you upload your card to SCS, PCP, and your blog make sure and use the keyword THT012. We hope you can come play along with us this week.

I made this card for a one of Sara's friends who just found out today that she is having a girl! This is the first time I am using the cotton scraps from Crafty Secrets. I just discovered the Bow Easy and it really is easy! Both the ribbon and Bow Easy are available at i {heart} papers. The hearts are a cuddlebug die, and I also added some half pearls.
