Happy Thanksgiving

How cute are these little Thanksgiving chicks! These adorable Stampendous Cling Plymouth Chicks they are colored with copic markers.The paper is from My Mind's Eye Bloom and Grow, and PTI Chocolate. The sentiment is also a Stampendous Cling called Graceful Thanksgiving. If you have not seen these cling stamps before they are awesome, they are rubber cling and the image is printed on the back side so you can see where you are stamping the image....very cool! I also used Mercy's sketch challenge #47 for my layout! The Images and paper are both available at i {heart} papers.

i {heart} papers Design Team Challenge

Every month the i {heart} papers design team does a challenge. This month it was my turn to host. When I first started making cards my biggest challenge was putting images on straight, that's why my blog is called Crooked Card Creations! So in honor of my blog's name the challenge is to put your image on askew! The image I used is from the Thank's Mom set from Stampendous available at i {heart} papers. The image was colored with copics and the buterfly punch is Martha Stewart. The fabulous Ribbon is Hanna silk beach glass.

I made this wedding card with the Stampendous Set Thanks Mom available at i {heart} papers. This is such a great set for Mothers Day. I stamped the images with Versamark on PTI vellum cardstock and embossed with Ranger Gold EP. The images were colored from the backside with copics and then colored with Shimmerz on the front. I used Liquid Pearls around the sentiment. The card was finished off with this beautiful pink May Arts ribbon. Kate has so many new items in the store, lots of new stamps sets and some of the prettiest paper you have ever seen!

Oooo! I just got this Vellum Cardstock from PTI, and it is really nice. It is thicker than most vellums so it is really nice to use embossing powder on it. To make this card I stamped the image from Stampendous on the vellum and colored it on the back side. On the front I added Opal Shimmers and Pink Petal Liquid Pearls. The cord is from Gina K and the ribbon is May Arts.
The hardest part was tryng to adhere the vellum, it is a little harder than a thinner vellum I had to use some heavy duty zots and hid them behind the bow and flowers. Thanks for looking!
