I Wheely Like You
I am delighted and honored to be the March guest designer for Storage Units, Ink & More! Wait until you see the fun images that are in the two new sets being released this month. For those of you who follow my blog, you know how my family has been asking me to make more kid cards because we are having a population explosion in our family! When I saw this set called Let's Play, I was so excited, there are so many fun images of children riding, jumping, and playing! For my first card I could not resist this tyke on a bike. He is colored in copics and has glossy accents on his bike. The paper is from Deja Views called My precious Boy, I also used PTI Poppy and White. I used Nesties for the circles and SU Photo Corner Punch, the buttons are from my stash! To see more fun images from this set visit the SUink blog !
Easter Greetings!
Look at how cute this little sweetie is all dressed up in her Easter bonnet and matching coat! This is a new set called You're Some Bunny Special and is available at Storage Units, Ink & More. There are so many delightful Easter images in this set. Her coat and hat is colored with copics. The paper is from K & Company Ancestry paper pack and PTI White. The flourishes and circles are all Quik Kutz dies. To see more fun images from this set visit the SUink blog!
Best Wishes
I made this wedding card with the Stampendous Set Thanks Mom available at i {heart} papers. This is such a great set for Mothers Day. I stamped the images with Versamark on PTI vellum cardstock and embossed with Ranger Gold EP. The images were colored from the backside with copics and then colored with Shimmerz on the front. I used Liquid Pearls around the sentiment. The card was finished off with this beautiful pink May Arts ribbon. Kate has so many new items in the store, lots of new stamps sets and some of the prettiest paper you have ever seen!

Sham Wow Thank You
I made this card for the Limited Supply Challenge on SCS. The challenge was to use only one stamp set and create a background from that set and also use the sentiment from the set. The only embellishments allowed were ribbon and brads. I chose the Flourishes Thank You set and stamped the background image and sentiment in Su Old Olive. I did a little copic coloring on the flower and added Old Olive Ribbon. Thanks for Looking!
It does not take very much to amuse my family! My niece Michelle just got the Sham Wow and this has been the topic of conversation for a week now. Yes she has succumbed to the hype and was enabled by the man in the white coat on TV. I am pretty sure that she is going to be wearing this headset while cleaning up random spills. I just can't wait to find out the 1001 uses for the amazing Sham Wow! Maybe I can cut it up and use it on a card!

Frugal Hat
Today on SCS the Ways To Use It Challenge was to use something frugal or recycled on your card. Well, I am not really a frugal kind of gal, Just ask my hubby! I always buy this Paper Creations Magazine, they have awesome templates in every issue. I seem to save all these fabulous templates and never do anything with them, probably because I am not the best cutter. So I thought I would step out of my comfort zone and use one of the hat template I have been hoarding!
So many people have been asking for the template, they did not have one on line so when tech savvy daughter comes home from work, I will see if she can somehow get the template posted!

I made this card for the Inspiration Challenge on SCS. The site being featured is called Flutter. They have some really interesting Items! I was really intrigued by the Weeks Supply Of Moustaches. I still may go back and order that! My inspiration was this $495 Beehive Birdcage! I could say a lot of things about it, but I won't. But I will tell you about this stunning paper from Basic Grey called Pocelian which is available at i (heart) papers. Every piece is just beautiful and perfect for spring. Mr & Mrs
I made two very similar wedding cards today. I am going to need a lot of wedding cards this year. Sara is at an age where a lot of her friends are getting married! You know what that means...next year I will be making a lot of baby cards! For this card I used the Mr & Mrs Stamp from Stampabilities and embossed it with Ranger Gold EP. The Frame is a Spellbinders Die. The paper is from The Paper Company called Natural Gold Swirl, and Bazzill Vanilla. I added PTI Vintage Cream Ribbon and Prima Flowers.
This card started out as my practice piece. Yes, I usually practice some elemnets before I make the real thing! Then I looked at today's Ways To use It Challenge, which was to use stripes on your card, and I had this DCWV cardstock sitting in front of me. I just added the May Arts Ribbon and some pearls.
Thanks for looking!

Daisy Thank You
I made this card for the Color Challenge on SCS. I usually do not do the color challenge. To me that is the hardest of all challenges! I usually take off Monday and Tuesday from stamping, and devote all my attention to Brooke, but she has a nasty cold and stayed home today, so I thought I would give this challenge a try!

Every Month the i {heart} papers design team has a challenge. This month it was to use your holiday paper in a different way. I decided to use my Basic Grey Wassail and Boxer paper to make a birthday card. This was such a fun challenge for me, as many of you know my birthday is Christmas Day, and I am always getting some sort of holiday themed birthday card, so now here is my chance to give someone else a holiday birthday card!
Kate has so many fun items at the store that are on sale and she is also running some banner ads on SCS. In addition to the free shipping on any order of $40 or more, there is an additional 10%. Look for the code on the SCS Banner!

Shopping Girl
I made this card for the Ways To Use It Challenge on SCS, The challenge was to use fabric on your card. I don't have any fabric. And I am not cutting anything up either. So this was a problem for me, I called my neighbor who is a beautiful sewer and asked her for one piece of fabric in a circle and she brought me this little brown piece. It was perfect for the center of my flower!

Lately I have been into cupcakes, real cupcakes, Today I let Brooke have a half of a chocolate cupcake (don't tell her Mom) after lunch. All she said was Mmmmm! Mmmmmm! Mmmmmm! I made this card for the Inspiration Challenge on SCS. The inspiration site was Hunkydory Home. This is really not my kind of decor. You will have to stretch you imagination with this Retro Lamp Shade I chose as my inspiration! About the only thing that inspired me was the color! But I did have fun making this card. i {heart} papers Five Minute Friday
Happy Friday, and welcome to i {heart} papers Five Minute Friday Cards. Kate started posting some cards on her blog a few weeks ago called Five Minute Friday and her cards were so cute and creative I asked her if I could join in on the fun and challenge myself to make a five minute card. Guess What? I really did make this card in about five minutes! I will admit it is easy when you have great products to work with, this paper is called Sugardrop from Memory Box, and is available at i {heart} papers. I added some sparkle gems and cut some May Arts Heart Ribbon apart ( I don't know what it is with me lately taking things apart) and stamped Love with white ink!
Paper Memory Box sugardrop {IHP}
May Arts Heart Ribbon {IHP}

Wedding Cake
I made this card for the Ways To Use It Challenge on SCS. The challenge was to pile on the embellishments. I love embellies and I usually have no trouble piling them on top of one another, but for some reason I wanted to make a wedding card today, so I needed to keep it a little less piled up. I have to get a jump start on wedding cards because I swear Sara is going to be the 27 dresses girl. I already have about ten bridesmaids dresses hanging in the closet and she is standing up to a couple of weddings this summer. I used a Jolee's sticker for the focal point, but I took the sticker apart and rearranged it and put it back together. Thanks for looking!
Supplies Cuddlebug Embossing Folder, Nesties, PTI Vintage Cream, Bazzill Shimmer White, May Arts Ribbon.

Dang i didn't have either, but Sara's girlfriend wanted a Valentine that said Love Bug on it and hooray I had that stamp! This cute stamp is from Our Craft Lounge and is available at i {heart} papers. Kate has some of the cutest valentine goodies , stop on over and take a peek!
