Over Quill

Quilling board, papers and tools

I made this card for the Featured Stamper Challenge on SCS. The honor today went to Karen Dunbrook, She has a delightful gallery filled with wonderful creations. This is the card I chose to case. I decided I would drag out my Quilling supplies which I have had for years to recreate Karen's card. I wated to post a picture of the quillling board, tools and paper just so you could have a visual. It really is easy and does go quickly.

Supplies Stamp Gina K Whimsical Autumn, Ink Memento Cocao, Paper, Bo Bunny Yellow Dots and PTI Lemon Tart, Cuddlebug Swiss Dots.

For those of your readers who would like to try quilling some pieces rather than buying "pre-quills" (already quilled pieces); there are lots of free patterns on my web site www.Whimsiquills.com Most of them are small and perfect for cards or scrapbooking. I also write a blog quillingwithwhimsiquills.blogspot.com with lots of helpful tips and hints etc. Don't put those "old quilling supplies" away . . .keep on rolling!

This is so beautiful! I've tried quilling only a couple of times. I've never seen a board...looks like it would definitely make things easier to keep consistent! I'm gonna have to give this a try again soon! You've inspired me!
