Hinged Happy Birthday

I made this card for the Technique Challenge on SCS. the challenge was to make a hinged card. I usually do not do this challenge but I thought it would be fun to give it a try. Well, I did it wrong, but I had fun making the card! The paper is Basic Grey Lime Ricky and is available at i {heart} papers. The Happy Birthday sentiment is an old stamp and I do not know the name. I also used Martha Stewarts balloon and border punches! Thanks for taking a peek!

Oh spectacular. What a great idea to have the balloons floating up from the base, and those papers look fantastic with this Birthday card. You did a wonderful job with this technque.

Well, I'm sorry you did it wrong, but it looks really cool just as it is! Those papers are really neat, and I love the way that that border punch looks on there!
