I love to add everything homemade to presents I give! Just so much more special that way I think! Nothing like tying your presents with your own ribbon bow....can you tell I {love} ribbon?! great blog!

Honestly? I make lousy bows so I usually use store bought ones. Most of the time I use gift bags and put bows on that. But I'll just bet I can come up with something one of these days. After all, look at the great blog I've got for an inspiration!

Congratulations on making the design team! That's awesome! I like the stick on bows from the stores but most of the time I like to make different kinds of decorations for the gifts! I'll do loops or weave a ribbon, shoelace bows with loose ribbons. Sometimes, this is bad, I don't do a bow or wrap....I give it in the store bag! LOL!

Congrats on the team! Ribbons... well I buy them at the store *gasp*, but that's b/c I can't time a real one!! I have to fake it on all my cards lol!

I have to admit that I usually buy pre-made bows for Christmas gifts. Sometimes I make my own but it's rare. But.... I love the ribbon you have in the blog candy. I can sure see them on some Christmas cards!

Love trimming my own packages. I like to add sprigs of greenery to red ribbon, or white snowflakes to blue ribbons. Thanks for the blog candy opp--ribbons are my biggest addiction!

Sign me up please!

I have ribbon from here, there and every where. I don't think I use it well enough though. But it's fun to look at!

What fantastic blog candy! I've just gotten into card making and crafting this year, so I always purchased the store bought stick on bows before. Maybe I'll try making my own this year, but since I'm getting married 12 days before Christmas and honeymooning until Christmas Day, I doubt I'll do anything elaborate this year. Thanks for the chance to win!

To be perfectly honest, I almost never use bows. My cats try to eat them if the gift isn't going to the recipient immediately, so I don't dare use them most of the time. I LOVE ribbon though, and use it on just about every project I make. A girl can never have too much ribbon!

hello. :) i can relate to those who cannot tie a perfect bow. what i do my presents is tie a ribbon and add a charm (to compensate for the missing bow). :-D

My favorite ribbon would be the kind that you can make curly. I put a note on my blog. I love seeing your beautiful cards!

I cop out and use store bought bows. My talents do not include tying bows! I am not really good at cutting out stuff either. It's a kindergarten thing...

I prefer twine to tie my gifts, I like the rawness and the subtle effect when used with shiny wrappers :)

If I have time I'll make my own bows, but I'm usually in a hurry! Love your blog, you are really creative! And congrats!!

I prefer handmade bows, but with the time crunch at the holidays, I usually end up using store-bought bows. {hangs head}

Thanks for the chance to win! I {heart} ribbon! :D

I also admit, making bows is my greatest weakness :) I usually tie a knot then add some loose ribbons and a tag.

Wow! I really suck when it comes to making a lovely looking gift. I would rather spend the money on the gift then the outside. So I mainly use curling ribbon on my gifts. So cheap! I know.
Thanks, Heidi

I like handmade best and use mostly organza ribbon for giftwrapping. I like how perky and fluffy the bows are when using that ribbon! These ribbons in the eye candy are gawjus!!!

I try to be creative with my holiday bows but it somehow never works out. I usually get the stick on kind.

I decorate my packages - some have men's ties (made from ribbon), others flowers (made from ribbon) - These are beautiful ribbons you're offering as blog candy! Thanks!!!

I love the look of homemade, and usually make fabric bags for my gifts, then use organza ribbons, twine, holiday sprigs to tie them closed...takes a little time, but is lots of fun! Thanks for a chance to win some awesome candy...which will look great on a bag this year.

I like to tear strips of fabric for my "ribbon". I also use lots of raffia.

I usually use the stick on kind but this year i have bought red paper and lots of wide silver ribbon and I'm going to try to make them look yummy!

Oh, I am so bad at making bows so I usually do without or use the store bought ones!

I don't do bows very well. I usually end up with that curley ribbon and maybe a fancy tag.

Amber (bambi64) said...

I don't usually do bows. I have so much curly ribbon that I make one from that if i feel like putting a bow on. Thanks for the chance to win some ribbon.

Sweet candy here. I love to make my own, but when I'm in a hurry I do the stick on ones. Thanks for a chance.

My own bows and now I'm really liking wired ribbon cine the wire doesn't seem to be so bulky!

Josette said...

I hate to say it but I use stick on bows. I do like to get creative though with things to wrap around the gift like for girls necklaces.

If I use ribbon on a present it is usually jute cording. If the gift is wrapped in pretty girly paper then I usually use one of the shinny ones from the store.

These are so lovely! I don't have any Christmas ribbon yet. Hopefully I can be drawed. Fantastic cards you've made!
