Beauty by Jane Austen

I made this card for the Inspiration Challenge on SCS. The challenge site is Bonjour Mon Coussin!
This is one of those cards where the paper did all the work for me. The beautiful paper is from My Minds Eye, Bella Bella Bellezo available at i {heart} papers. While I was making this card Sara kept saying it reminded her of Jane Austen and that she wanted to write the description on SCS for this card. Here is what she had to say:

Bonjour!

Sara here. For those of you who follow my mom's blog, you know that I pop in from time to time as the self-proclaimed editor-in-chief. My mom was inspired by this beautiful French pillow: http://www.bonjourmoncoussin.com/en/...php?act=1,1,89.

I told my mom that I thought this card looked very Jane Austen-esque, so she let me name the card. She debated using a black ribbon in the corner, but I told her that it would have changed the flavor of the card to being very Emily Dickinson-esque. She was having none of my literary references, so she slapped on the pink ribbon and called it a night. I hope you enjoy her card! Thanks for looking!

"...to sit in the shade on a fine day, and look upon verdure, is the most perfect refreshment." -Jane Austen, Mansfield Park
