All Star

I made this card for the Featured Stamper Challenge on SCS. The featured stamper is Vicky Gould and boy does she have an amazing gallery! My family has asked me to make more little boy cards. We have been a family of girls forever, I have three sisters, we all had girls, and you all know my Great Niece Brooke, but things are beginning to change! I am going to be A Great Aunt again, and IT's A Boy!!! We don't even know what to do! His name will be Thomas (Tommy) and he will arrive in May. In August I will be watching both Brooke and Tommy! So I am getting a head start on my little boy cards! Isn't this the cutest image! It is from Whipper Snapper called Baseball Brandon, I think we should change the name to Baseball Tommy! The paper is Bo- Bunny Blue Dots and I think it goes perfectly with this image. Thanks for stopping by!

Pearls, Petals and Pizzazz

I made this card for the Ways To Use It Challenge at SCS. the challenge was to take patterned paper and pizzazz it up. I don't know why I make it harder for myself sometimes. I know that Pinks are the hardest for me to photograph, especially light pinks, so what color do I pick...Pink! Then I pick this really light gauze type paper that is almost impssoble to work with, and add glitter to it....I spent about a half an hour getting the glitter off the places I did not want glitter. Then I decide I am going to take this really delicate paper and try to use punches. I think I punched ten butterflies, only one did not rip apart. I did have better luck with the cuddlebug dies. Then I had to glue this stuff down. No ATG on this paper, or scrappy glue...but I did learn that the quickie glu pen worked! Anyway here is my card!

Supplies: Pink Petallo Flowers, The paper Company Pink And White Wedding Overlay, Prisma Glitter and Silver Glitter, Cuddlebug Heart Die and Quik Kuts Flourish Die, Pretties Kit Pearls and Flower Centers

Black and White Valentine

This card is for the Limited Supply Challeneg at SCS. The challenge was to make a non-cheesy Valentine using only red, pink, black, white, or kraft. The card should be small and be able to be reproduced quickly. So this is what I came up with. This is a 31/2 by 4 card, I cuddlebugged the swirls on one half and added the polka dot paper on the other half. The hearts are Cuddlebug heart dies, and the love sentiment is a Martha Stewart punch. It really was quick and easy! Thanks for looking!

I {Heart} Valentine's Day!

Happy Monday! Today the i {heart} papers design team had a challenge to create a Valentine for someone other than your sweetheart. And how cute is this image from Our Craft Lounge! This is from the set Pat the Dog and is available at i {heart} papers. Make sure and stop by the store, Kate has some adorable Valentine goodies.

Kendra also has some fun Valentine blog candy, so you will want to take a peek at her blog. Stop by the rest of the design teams blogs too, and see their fun Valentine's!

Be Mine

I made this card for the Ways To Use It Challenge at SCS. The challenge was to use stars on your card! When I first started making this card my thought was this will be Brooke's Valentine card. Brooke is my 18 soon to be 19 month old niece that I watch everyday. As I was making this card I set up Brooke's little table next to my stamp table and punched out a bunch of shapes in different colors, she had a ball playing with them, so then I thought this will be a card for Brooke to give to her mom and dad for Valentine's Day. I am going to let her decorate the inside of the card with some of the shapes and then she can color (well scribble) on the inside.

This adorable image is from Our Craft Lounge, the set is called Lola Love, she is colored with copics. I also used Nestabilities, Prima Flowers, Details Hearts, and May Arts Ribbon
