I {heart} Pocket Cards




I made this card for the Featured Stamper challenge on SCS. This week the honor went to SmilynStef. I chose to case her Antique Brocade Pocket Card. I loved her card! The paper is Pink Paislee Bonfire. The pearls are ZVA, and the pretty little flowers are from The Card Company. The paper, pearls, and flowers are all available at i {heart} papers. I also used the SU scallop punch, Marvy tag punch, and Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch.

I made this card for the Inspiration Challenge on SCS. This week the challenge site was Posh Tots. I was inspired by the this knob. The paper is Wausau textured cardstock and black. I also used Fiskars star punches, circle punches and spellbinders circle dies.

Birthday Wishes



I made this card for the Inspiration Challenge on SCS. The challenge site was called Fabulous Stationary. This was my inspiration piece. We have a lot of Birthday's in the next few weeks in our family, so now I really need to focus on making birthday cards! The paper and ribbon are from The Paper Source, I also used a Martha Stewart border punch and Quickutz Circle dies. The pretty birthday sentiment is from Verve.

i {heart} paper Design Team Challenge Be Loved




Every month the i {heart} papers design team has a challenge. This month the challenge was to use the new My Mind's Eye Be Loved or Love Me Do kits. I decided to go with the Be Loved kit, I love the colors in this paper kit! The theme for this challenge was called Eat, Drink and Be Merry, I went with the drinks! The sentiment and glasses are from the Hero Arts Best Wishes set, aslo available at IHP. I also used the Martha Stewart Loop punch and Hero Arts Prisma Glitter. The punched heart is from the Be Loved kit.

Finally!


I am finished with my holiday cards! I have been putting this off for weeks and trying to come up with a card that did not have a lot of layers and bulk, but were still fun and festive. Thanks to Kate, at i {heart} papers, I finally was inspired after she sent me an adorable card using this Petallo Dazzler snowman....Thanks Kate!

To make this card I cut an oval in the center of the cardstock, then cut a larger oval in red and placed it on the inside of the card. The scallop was made using two nesties together and then cut in the wizard. I also used the Swiss Dots cuddlebug folder, white gel pen, and ribbon!

My adorable penguin is colored with copic markers, his hat is from my stash (sorry I do not know where this is from).The scalloped card is from Jillibean Soup, and the ribbon is May Arts.

Today's ways to use it challenge on SCS was to make or use a tag! I decided to make a card and use a tag from the Three Bugs In A Rug Bee Mine Caboodles Kit, available at i {heart} papers. Happy Birthday Sara



Today is my beautiful daughter Sara's 24th birthday! I wanted to make a card that reminded me of her, all pink and feminine, classic and elegant, sparkly and always put together perfectly! Not only is she my baby girl, she is also my best friend!

To make this card I used Bazzill pink and white. I used the cuddlebug swiss dots, swirls and heart embossing folders. The pretty birthday sentiment is from the Verve Circular Sayings set.

Winter White Wedding


Sara has another wedding to attend this weekend. I thought I would make this card a white on white winter wedding card. I used the SCS sketch 243 as my starting point. I used the Martha Stewart border punch, butterfly punch, love punch, and leave punch. The fern punch is McGill and the hearts are a Quickutz Die. I also used the Cuddlebug Swiss Dots folder, and PTI ribbon.

Joy To the World




This card is for the Limited Supply Challenge on SCS. The challenge was to make a long or tall card. I decided to go with a long 6x7 card. The sentiment stamp is from Verve, Star Of Wonder set. I used The Paper Source red and Doodlebug Design Glitter paper. For the frame I used the Martha Stewart Punch Around The Page border punch and her holly leaf stickers.

For this month's i {heart} papers design team challenge we CASED a sketch that you can find here. The original card was so beautiful...the angles are so interesting! I used this fantastic paper from Jillibean Soup called White Macaroni and PTI Chocolate that I ran through the Swiss Dot cuddlebug folder. The thank you sentiment is from the Inkadinkadoo set called All Occasions. I embellished with this fantastic Daisy Felt Flower and a button tied with some scrappers floss.

Snow Day!


I made this card using the Mojo Monday sketch 113. The image is Penny Black, Warm and Cold. The paper is from Making Memories Mistletoe, and PTI Vintage Cream. My jolly snowman is colored with copic markers and has some prisma glitter sprinkled on him, I also used Polar White Flower Soft for the snow. IRL this has such a pretty sparkle to it....although it never seems to show up when I take a picture! Thanks for taking a peek!
